Lucio Zago

Creative Director

Lucio Zago brings twenty-five years of design and corporate branding experience. After graduating with a BA degree in Graphic Arts from the Basel School of Design in Switzerland, Lucio was hired as the Art Director in the advertising department at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals.

He later moved to New York City where he worked for several design and advertising companies as both designer and art director, before he and his partners formed Zago Oshima Fehr Design (ZOF).

In 1994, Lucio and his brother, Nereo, joined forces to create Zago, LLC., specializing in corporate identity. In 2001 Lucio decided to embark on more independent ventures, working as a free agent in design and forming Next Friday, Inc.

He has won several international and national design awards, including the National and International New York Art Directors' Club Award, the Swiss Art Directors' Club Award, and the How Magazine Award.
